Gary Freegard

I moved to the village in 2024, having previously lived in Milton Keynes, and we have quickly come to feel part of the community.

My professional background is in web and graphic design, where I have developed strong skills in communication, organisation, and problem-solving. Experience I now enjoy putting to good use locally.

After settling in the village, I joined the Friends of Gretton Recreation Ground team. In 2025, I was honoured to take on the role of organiser of the Annual Gretton Funday, following the handover of responsibilities from Tim Fox. This has been a rewarding opportunity to help bring the community together and support a well-loved local event.

I decided to become a parish councillor because I am passionate about helping and supporting the community, listening to residents, and working positively to make the village an even better place to live.
