Update on Southfield Road EV Chargepoints
Gretton Parish Council have received the following updates from the North Northamptonshire Council Electric Vehicle team with regards to the Electric Vechile (EV) chargepoints being installed on Southfield Road.

- The NNC EV team have given an apology to Gretton Parish Council for their failure to notify us the works were due to commence so that we in turn could inform residents.
- The NNC EV team confirms that consultation cards were distributed by hand on 29th May, a tracking map was provided of the delivery route taken by NNC’s EV team.
- The NNC EV team confirm that they received only two responses, one in support and one in objection. The primary concern was loss of parking.
- The NNC EV team confirm no parking restrictions will be introduced at the Southfield Road site in the immediate term. Any vehicle can park in the bays alongside the chargepoints
- The NNC EV team welcome residents enquiries via EV@northnorthants.gov.uk
- A decision on installations on the High Street or Craxford Road is still pending
